ABOUT ABOUT

We would like to invite all homeschoolers to participate in Charge’s 2nd Annual Author’s Night!

What is Author’s night? Author’s night is an event where homeschoolers come together to present the projects they have prepared about a specific author.

Pick a your favorite author or one that you would like to learn more about.    Register on Ticketleap by March 5th, indicating what who  you have chosen. We would like each family or participant to choose a different author. No repeats please! Authors  are first come first serve so sign up early to get your first choice.   We will let you know if your first choice is not available so that you can pick an alternate.

Be creative. Many people choose to use a tri-fold board, but  may use any medium you choose to create your project - a tri-fold, poster, diorama, artifacts, costumes, videos whatever you can think of. Be thorough and interesting. You may bring books to display, make handouts to pass out, or create a fun game to play! If you require electricity please inform us ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly.

Prepare and submit an interesting question about your author for a scavenger hunt.   Be sure to display the answer to your question clearly in you presentation area.

If you like to write prepare a short story or poem of your own to share - if not just share your favorite author.

You can choose to do this as a family project or each child in your family may choose to do their own favorite author.   Choose Family Ticket or choose a student ticket for each child presenting individually.

We hope this will be a successful, fun event for your homeschoolers and can’t wait to see everyone’s presentations!

If you have questions pleasse message Jennifer Garcia or Nicole Hill for help.
